A consortium of land owners with holdings in and around the village of Pokeno was planning substantial expansion of the village into a town catering for a population of up to 5900 people with employment opportunities for around 1880 jobs.

We assisted with master planning and developed a Structure Plan which included studies into suitable options for crossing the North Island Main Trunk railway, key intersection modelling and design, the
preparation of concept subdivision designs, and road design guidelines. We prepared an Integrated Transportation Assessment and assisted with the development of a Private Plan Change, and presented evidence to the planning hearing.

We have subsequently been engaged to provide advice and assessment of multiple subdivisions and developments within Pokeno, including the Helenslee residential neighbourhood, Hitchen residential neighbourhood, and the Gateway Business Park.
