Specialist Advice

experienced in Council and Court proceedings

 Expert Witness

We are often called upon to appear as an expert witness in hearings or court cases and we have presented evidence for a variety of parties including applicants, submitters for or against a proposal, and for local authorities.

  •  Resource consent hearings

  •  Plan change and plan variation hearings
  •  Environment court appeals
  •  District court cases
  •  High court cases

 Peer Reviews

We are often engaged to review the work of our peers. In some cases we are engaged by Councils to review assessments for consent applications, and in other cases clients are seeking a second opinion, often to support the principal consultants in contentious situations.

 Strategy, Policy and Guidelines

We assist authorities with the development of transport-related strategies, plans, policies, and the development of guidelines

We undertake research in the transport area.
